If you are looking for culture, you could visit the JC Raulston Arboretum, North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences or Historic Oakwood Cemetery. You can enjoy the outdoors at Pullen Park, which has 66 acres and was established in 1887. You can also shop ‘til you drop at the Crabtree Valley Mall that boasts 220 shops.

But one the most iconic spots is the Historic City Market.  There are numerous shops and restaurants along the cobblestone streets of downtown Raleigh. It was first established in 1914. Until the 1940’s, it was the center of commerce as farmers brought their produce for sale.

It lost prominence after supermarkets were developed and it faded away.  However, it was reborn in 1980 when it was recognized on the National Register of Historic Places. The resurgence was completed in the 1990’s under new ownership. You could even exchange your vows at the Historic Market Hall.

Raleigh Markets represents all the reasons why Raleigh should be considered for your nuptials.

Check out the Raleigh Market experience we are bringing to the Raleigh Convention Center on January 4th & 5th 2020. Tickets available online for $10 or $15 at the door.
